Nick was a very special dog.  In the show ring he exceeded all of our expectations.  He won an all breed Best in Show, the Akita Club of Canada National Specialty show in 2001, the Akita Alumni Specialty in 2000 and two Awards of Merit at the Akita Club of America National Specialty.  He was number 2 Akita in Canada in 1998 with very limited showing.  

Not only was Nick an outstanding show dog he also had an exceptional temperament.  He was an incredibly sweet and gentle dog.
